Kapow Technologies Posts Another Quarterly Revenue Record; Adds 120th Enterprise Customer to Roster


Company Establishes strong Foothold in U.S. Software Market; Achieves Success with Global 3000 Companies and the Web 2.0 Community

Campbell, CA - Feb 2, 2006 – Kapow Technologies, the world's leading Web Integration platform provider, today reported its second fiscal quarter was another record quarter, that included a significant increase in new enterprise customers such as the American Psychological Association, Dominion Power, Thales Air Defense, Realpage.com and Lash Group. The company also had repeat sales to more than 20 existing clients.

Last quarter, Kapow Technologies achieved a significant percentage of its sales through strategic alliances with leading software companies including BEA Systems, Oracle, Plumtree Software and AttachmateWRQ. Additional second quarter accomplishments include:

  • Named to the Deloitte Fast 500 Europe. Kapow Technologies achieved the 92nd rank in a survey of the fastest-growing technology companies measured by revenue growth over a five-year period.
  • Gained notoriety in the Web 2.0 community. The company increased its awareness among software analysts and Web 2.0 companies because of its unique ability to integrate both content and applications via a browser. This enabled companies such as Ziggs.com, krtinfo.com (a Knight Ridder / Tribune joint venture) and realpage.com to achieve their metasite business objectives.
  • Signed strategic reseller agreement with ClearForest, Inc. ClearForest will market the Kapow Web Integration Platform for text extraction into its unified Business Intelligence systems.
  • Signed strategic reseller agreement with Seagull Software. Seagull will market the Kapow solution to extend the mainframe LegaSuite integration solution with the Kapow Web Integration Platform to use with any web-based resource.
  • Signed strategic reseller agreement with Inxight Software. Inxight will market the Kapow Web Integration Platform for collecting structured and unstructured text content, and feed it into the Inxight SmartDiscovery Analysis solution.
  • Deployed the Kapow Web Integration Platform at several Global 3000 companies. The company continued to surpass the expectations of the most discerning IT departments in the finance, health care, travel, and automotive industries through its ability to integrate mission-critical data in novel ways in timeframes once thought impossible.
