Kapow Technologies Gains Momentum in Third Fiscal Quarter


Company Inks Record Number of New Customer and Partner Contracts; Delivers a Powerful New Version of the Kapow Web Integration Platform on Schedule

Palo Alto, CA - Apr 27, 2006 – Kapow Technologies, the world's leading Web Integration platform provider, today reported another strong quarter, gaining significant momentum in customer and partner acquisition, as well as product development. In the past 90 days, Kapow added 20 new customers to its roster, including Procter & Gamble, JB Hunt, World Wide Technologies, the Archdiocese of Atlanta, the EU Commission, Thales and Doral Bank.

"In our third fiscal quarter, we saw an accelerated adoption of the Kapow Web Integration Platform in portal and content intensive applications, both here in the U.S. and in several European marketplaces," said Glenn Hasen, CEO of Kapow Technologies.   • Last quarter, Kapow Technologies continued to derive a significant percentage of its sales through strategic alliances with leading software companies including BEA Systems, Oracle, and AttachmateWRQ. Additional accomplishments include:
  • Shipped version 6.0 of the Kapow Web Integration Platform on schedule. The latest release sets a new standard for ease of enterprise-level portlet creation and content population in portals, as well as support for new Web 2.0 technologies.
  • Achieved SAP NetWeaver certification. The certified Kapow adapter enables customers to integrate any web application into SAP NetWeaver XI without any additional programming required.
  • Signed strategic reseller agreements with Tridion and Fast Search and Transfer. Tridion will market the Kapow solution to its content management customer base. Fast Search and Transfer will now offer the Kapow Platform to its enterprise clients.
  • Signed six new agreements with European software distributors. Kapow added additional partners to bolster its market coverage in Spain, Italy and France.
